Individual consultation can be a great resource as a clinician. Whether it is trying to figure out where you are wanting to grow within your career or you are wanting additional information about the mental health field, consultation can help you gain some clarity and insight.
Online group consultation can be a great way to not only grow your skills but gain support from others. The structure of our consultation groups combined both specific meeting topics and open process time.
Groups are expected to start in the Fall 2025.

No. Within consultation, we discuss issues, concerns, or barriers that you may be experiencing in the professional realm. Maybe you are unsure how to proceed with a specific client/case, or you are unsure of the direction you are wanting to go within your career. While issues of transference and countertransference between you and your clients can be identified and discussed within consultation, resolution and processing of the concerns that personal for you are referred out to an individual therapist of your choosing. Referrals recommendations can be provided if you don't currently have your own therapist.
Unfortunately no. Due to potential ethical issues involving dual relationships, we do not recommend having your consultant and your therapist being the same person.
This is truly dependent on you and your individual needs. You are able to schedule as little as one session and if you would like to schedule more at a later time you can.
No. Consultation does not count for qualified supervision hours. Engaging in one or multiple consultation sessions does not make the consultant your qualified supervisor. Qualified supervision is a consistent relationship between the supervisor and supervisee where the supervisor provides ongoing oversight of a registered intern working towards state required licensure hours. Qualified supervisors must be approved by the State of Florida and the relationship between supervisor and supervisee is recorded with the state prior to supervision beginning. Consultation on the other hand is not required but is often encouraged. While registered interns may seek consultation in addition to their qualified supervision, consultation can also be sought by professionals that are already licensed.
